Justin Panneck is a behavioral health consultant, health psychologist, and counselor with a doctorate in health psychology and a master’s in counseling. He sees clients across the lifespan, although as a BHC, primarily sees adolescents and adults related to coping with a variety of physical health issues, including but not limited to weight management and nutritional advice, reducing life and health-related stressors, dealing with risky behaviors such as tobacco or alcohol abuse, issues with sleep, appetite, or cognition.
Justin also works outside of the clinic at The Center at Heron Hill–Alliance Counseling, as a nature-based therapist, and works with children, couples, adults, and families, utilizing such interventions as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Problem-Focused Therapy, Eco-Therapy, Art Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
Justin views mental and physical wellness from a holistic perspective focusing on multiple connections among mental, physical, spiritual, and environmental health. Justin also believes our relationship with food as most important and believes there should not be a distinction between food and medicine.
