Kristin’s undergraduate training was at Oakland University in Detroit, Michigan where she earned her BSN. Before completing her graduate training in Family Practice at Frontier University, she worked in a variety of health care settings including the Adult ICU, Neonatal and Pediatric ICUs, Pediatric and Adult flight nursing, and several Pediatric and Adult Emergency Rooms, both at home and abroad with Doctors Without Borders. She is passionate about health promotion of all populations including children, adolescents, adults, the elderly and the community-based health care system.
She is currently completing her doctor of nursing practice (DNP) so that she can help her patients better utilize the health care system.
In her free time, she enjoys backcountry skiing, backpacking, and running long distances.
